Due Diligence

We have developed certain techniques which allow us to perform lease checks accurately and expediently, often without even making a trip to the courthouse. Using our custom programs and online courthouse access, we can expedite the lease check and begin leasing before the competition.

We have negotiated and acquired pipeline right of ways and easements on thousands of acres of private and public lands. We realize the importance of negotiating tough and in the best interest of our client, all the while striving to maintain goodwill, on our client's behalf, with those parties with whom we negotiate.

We have worked on numerous acquisitions and divestitures, assisted some of our clients in actually finding producing properties to acquire, and performed extensive due diligence consulting, researching and reporting.

Our firm has handled many 3D Seismic Acquisitions, including a recent acquisition covering 110 square miles. We are involved in every aspect of these projects, from identification and permitting of owners, through the final acquisition of data. We have the technology and the experience to efficiently and effectively complete seismic acquisitions.

We have some of the best abstractors on our staff, many of them with over 15 years experience. We also have established relationships with several oil & gas attorneys and firms around the country. Between them, we are well prepared to handle any abstracting and title curative you may need.

We have also negotiated leases, farmouts, surface damages, production settlements, escrow agreements, etc. We have researched and prepared bids for numerous state lease sales and BLM sales.
