Our clients range from small, independent operators to some of the largest Oil & Gas development companies in the world. We have the infrastructure to facilitate a full range of services, from 3D Seismic Acquisition through Spudding a Well and beyond. You probably recognize some of our clients below:

We have worked with ConocoPhillips on several projects, including research and extensive mineral abstracts of their acreage in Montana. We researched ownership from an 1864 Land Grant Act into Northern Pacific Railway Co. through current. We discovered an interesting history book detailing the railroads, their land and mineral acquisitions and divestitures, as well as mergers and other corporate acts, at a museum in another county in Montana, which added value to their substantial assets.

Petrohawk and their predecessors have retained BBLS in multiple states for more than twenty years. In January 2008, just before the Haynesville Shale boom, Petrohawk turned to BBLS to assemble a team of 25 brokers to perform lease checks, title, lease acquisitions, abstracting and curative to help them acquire the largest position in the play. In addition, Petrohawk leaned on BBLS for recommendations for several other firms to work on behalf of Petrohawk due to the enormous size of the play. We also worked with iLandman at the time to import the project data into their system and assisted them with debugging and improving the iLandman system from lease data entry to interactive mapping.

We have worked with Apache Corporation for over twenty years on numerous lease checks, lease negotiations and acquisitions, state lease bids, abstracting, interested parties lists, and just about every other facet of oil and gas land work imaginable to add value to their assets. We have worked with Apache from South Louisiana to Arkansas, as well as several other states.

For the benefit of their clients, we have worked closely with Bank of America researching and analyzing some of their largest surface and timber owners in the country. We have evaluated mineral servitudes, prescription of minerals, rights-of-way, sand and gravel and a host of other aspects, helping to bring the use of their clients' assets to its highest and best use and value.

We spearheaded a 64,000 acre seismic project for Strand Energy, LC in South Louisiana, from title, negotiations and internally developing a mass mailout seismic database system to providing boots on the ground for negotiating and establishing a relationship with the landowners. We remained proactive during the project working alongside the seismic crew in the field to keep landowners informed and make sure everyone knew what to expect and when to expect it.

Working closely with Shell's in-house people, and under Shell management's direct supervision, we assembled a team of data entry personel to work at Shell's Houston, Texas office on contract to transfer data between an old database system to a new, more modern system for Shell. We established and executed several quality control measures to assure the accuracy of the data being transferred to their new system.

A year and a half prior to the Haynesville Shale boom, we had another client, EOG Resources, that was quietly working to acquire acreage on the southern fringe of the future shale play, related to prospects their geologists had developed. We negotiated and acquired several thousand acres on their behalf between the prospects and abstracted and performed title curative on the acreage.

In a first of its kind "Ultra deep" land drill, we worked in depth on behalf of Freeport-McMoran to research leasehold title, negotiate and acquire a substantial number of leases and abstract minerals for approximately 20,000 acres in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. Our staff assisted with all aspects of the project, including lease title, leasing, abstracting, unitization, title curative and more.

We have worked alongside Liskow & Lewis for years for the benefit of their clients, performing abstracting and title curative services, allowing them to render accurate and professional opinions on minerals, working interests and more. We also regularly assist with legal postings and other tasks required by their firm.

When Petro Harvester (now Rockall) acquired a vast amount of assets in South Louisiana, we stepped up to provide the acquistion due diligence research, interactive mapping platform, lease acquistion services and abstracting and curative for their newly acquired assets spanning three parishes.

We have worked on several leasing projects, due diligence projects, acquistions and consolidations on behalf of Goodrich Petroleum. We've also worked with Goodrich on projects involving title curative and conservation research.

Over the years, Jones Walker has repeatedly sought our services to assist with title research, abstracting and curative and benefitting mutual clients.
